Jonathan Guy

Jonathan Guy has twenty three years capital markets experience covering the mining sector as an equity analyst. Prior to joining Hannam & Partners he was co-head of mining research at Berenberg and has also worked at a number of other brokers including Numis, RBC and Investec, principally focusing on covering gold and silver mining companies. Jonathan trained as a geologist at the Camborne School of Mines and holds a B.Eng in Industrial Geology.

Ben Williams

Ben has thirty years’ experience as an investor and analyst. He started at Fidelity in London where he spent ten years covering five different sectors and first discovered Diversified Financials. More recently, he has managed a Pan European fund for Investec, and a European equity long/short fund for GSA, before focussing back onto diversified financials businesses as a research analyst at Liberum and at Shore Capital. Ben read Classics and Modern Languages at Wadham College, Oxford.

Anish Kapadia

Anish joined H&P in 2018 and launched coverage on E&Ps Eco (Atlantic), Hurricane Energy and Savannah Petroleum. He has over 15 years’ experience of equity research in the oil & gas sector and most recently was Managing Director for oil & gas equity research at Tudor Pickering Holt & Co, covering global E&Ps and integrated oil companies. Previously he was an oil & gas equity research analyst at UBS covering 15 stocks across Europe.

Richard Clarke

Richard Clarke joined Hannam & Partners in 2019 as a Senior Adviser. He was formerly at KPMG for 31 years (18 as a Partner) where he headed Corporate Finance, M&A and Asset and Wealth Management. He has led M&A deals for over 80 clients including global financial institutions, public bodies, listed, private equity and owner managed businesses. Most of these M&A deals were in wealth management, financial planning and asset management. Richard has Board level contacts across regulated financial services and is a Chartered accountant.

Michael Reynolds

Michael was formerly acting Global Head of Equity Compliance for Barclays Capital. He has also held positions as Global Head of Compliance at JPMorgan Cazenove, Co Global Head of Compliance and Legal at Swiss Re (Capital Management and Advisory) and Head of Investment Banking Compliance at Nomura International.

James Ward

James is an accomplished entrepreneurial accountant who founded Whale Rock in 2004 and then sold it to Capita plc in 2012. He has significant advisory and transaction experience in both private and public markets including in the natural resources sector.

As well as acting as NED for Hannam & Partners, James also sits as an advisor to a number of companies across various sectors.  He is also a charity Treasurer.

Kiran Bassi

Kiran has extensive financial services experience across multiple asset classes. Having started her career in private wealth management, she has worked at hedge funds, asset management, and private equity in both front office and compliance roles. Most recently, Kiran was the global head of compliance at a fintech startup covering LATAM, North America, EMEA. Over the course of her career Kiran has worked with many regulatory agencies including the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority, the Takeover Panel, the Central Bank of Ireland and the De Nederlansche Bank.
She has BSc in Economics & Accountancy from City University.
