Franck Nganou

Franck joined Hannam & Partners in July 2017 to work in the Investment Banking Metals and Mining team. Before joining, he worked in Global Markets at Deutsche Bank AG in London for three years as an Equity Research Analyst covering European Listed Metals and Mining companies. Franck was Lead Analyst for small / mid-cap base and precious metal names (Boliden, Polymetal, Nordgold, Acacia Mining, and Nyrstar) and Secondary Analyst for Bulk and Large cap diversified (BHP, Rio Tinto, Glencore, Randgold). Together with the team, he was runner-up at the 2017 Institutional Investor survey and Top Performer at the 2016 Extel survey. Franck is a CFA Charterholder and a Graduate from ESSEC Business School Masters of Finance (French Grande Ecole). Franck has a BSc in Mathematics (hon).

Roger Bell

Roger is Managing Director of Research at Hannam & Partners, leading a team of analysts providing equity market and industry insights for investor clients. Roger has over 16 years’ experience in mining & metals equity research, having worked at UBS, Sanford C Bernstein and J.P. Morgan Cazenove. Prior to joining H&P, he headed J.P. Morgan’s European Steel Sector coverage, winning recognition in the 2016 Institutional Investor survey. Roger holds a Masters in Mathematics from Oxford University, graduating with first class honours, and is a CFA charter holder.

Jonathan Guy

Jonathan Guy has twenty three years capital markets experience covering the mining sector as an equity analyst. Prior to joining Hannam & Partners he was co-head of mining research at Berenberg and has also worked at a number of other brokers including Numis, RBC and Investec, principally focusing on covering gold and silver mining companies. Jonathan trained as a geologist at the Camborne School of Mines and holds a B.Eng in Industrial Geology.

Ian Chan

Ian has over 20 years of corporate finance experience working across a number of different sectors. Over the last fifteen years, Ian has focused exclusively on the metals and mining sector. Previously, Ian worked in an in-house M&A and strategy role with one of Australia’s largest companies and, prior to that, in the M&A team of a large European investment bank in Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Law from the University of New South Wales. He is a Chartered Accountant and a qualified Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

Eloise Nederveen

Eloise has over 15 years of experience in project finance, structured finance and capital structuring advisory with a focus on the energy and natural resources sector. She previously worked at ING in the project finance advisory team focusing on large scale projects in the energy and natural resources sector. In addition to English, Eloise speaks French (native) and Spanish (fluent). She holds a Master of Humanities from the Sorbonne University, a Master of International Business (Honours) from Institut d’Etudes Politiques and an MBA from ESSEC. Eloise is currently on the board of Aya Gold & Silver Inc. (TSX: AYA; OTCQX: AYASF).

Anish Kapadia

Anish joined H&P in 2018 and launched coverage on E&Ps Eco (Atlantic), Hurricane Energy and Savannah Petroleum. He has over 15 years’ experience of equity research in the oil & gas sector and most recently was Managing Director for oil & gas equity research at Tudor Pickering Holt & Co, covering global E&Ps and integrated oil companies. Previously he was an oil & gas equity research analyst at UBS covering 15 stocks across Europe.

Andrew Wright

Andrew is a qualified lawyer with over 25 years’ of experience working on various transactions in the UK and internationally. Andrew spent ten years working for two leading international law firms (White & Case LLP and Vinson & Elkins LLP). He then spent ten years as general counsel for two sizeable international funds, leading their M&A transactions and financing arrangements, whilst ensuring that high quality corporate governance was adopted and followed. Andrew holds a Bachelor or Laws from the University of Leeds and a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Guildford College of Law. He sits on H&P’s Board as a Non Executive Director as well as our legal counsel.

Kiran Bassi

Kiran has extensive financial services experience across multiple asset classes. Having started her career in private wealth management, she has worked at hedge funds, asset management, and private equity in both front office and compliance roles. Most recently, Kiran was the global head of compliance at a fintech startup covering LATAM, North America, EMEA. Over the course of her career Kiran has worked with many regulatory agencies including the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority, the Takeover Panel, the Central Bank of Ireland and the De Nederlansche Bank.
She has BSc in Economics & Accountancy from City University.
